There is still an opportunity to take in Greenleaf Cemetery’s Holiday Trail of Lights, as the event will be available to enjoy this weekend.

“If you wanted to enjoy the Christmas ‘past and present’ tributes, but somehow missed the first weekend of the 2018 Holiday Trail Of Lights at Greenleaf, you’re in luck,” Greenleaf Cemetery Association board president Steve Harris said.

The Trail Of Lights will be open from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday for its second and final weekend, Harris said.

The Trail of Lights is a driving tour through the cemetery that will allow visitors a chance to enjoy Christmas illumination provided by solar and LED lights, wreaths and other decorations and a Tunnel of Lights, provided by solar and LED lights.

This is the second year for the event.

There is no entry fee or cover charge, but donations are appreciated as the event serves as a major fundraiser as the cemetery continues to recover from near financial ruin.

Greenleaf cemetery is at 2615 Highway 377 South.
