An award-winning market swine apparently wanted the limelight Thursday afternoon at the Brown County Youth Fair when she wandered into a photo shoot and stood next to the another pig — also an award winner — drawing laughter from waiting photographers and other observers.

Joe Baucom sprayed water from a water bottle toward the snouts of both pigs, and the swine slurped loudly at the water.

“It’s OK — they’re sisters,” Baucom joked.

The photo-bombing swine’s time before the cameras would come soon.

But first, she was coaxed out of the way so Baucom’s son, Josh, a member of the Brownwood FFA, could have his picture taken with his White OPB swine. Baucom had just won the reserve grand champion award for the breed.

Then the photo bomber was led back into the camera frame. She was owned by Vance Cady Gordon of the FFA, who had just won the grand champion award for the breed.

The White OPB swine were among hundreds of livestock judged Wednesday and Thursday as the youth fair continued.
