Charles Donald Greenhaw, age 77, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at a local nursing home.

Charles was born on July 5, 1941, to Paul, Sr. and Lois (Jeter) Greenhaw in Ranger, Texas. He married the love of his life, Judy, on Oct. 18, 1963. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Charles worked for General Dynamics in the ’60’s and ’70’s on the first space program. He was talented with his hands and woodworking. His art exhibit work is on display at Balboa Park in San Diego and all throughout San Diego. He co-owned Greenhaw Cabinets from 1974 to 1989.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Tim Greenhaw and wife Virginia of Bangs, Daniel Greenhaw and wife Paula of Fort Worth; his mother, Lois Greenhaw; four grandchildren, Tyler Greenhaw, Justin Greenhaw and wife Carmen, Layne Greenhaw and Peyton Greenhaw; one brother, Paul Greenhaw, Jr. and wife Danna of Brownwood; and one sister, Brenda Messamore and husband Jimmy of Atwater, Calif. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy Greenhaw; father, Paul Greenhaw Sr.; and a sister, Linda Rattazzi.
