COLEMAN — Services with military honors for William Roy Bond Jr., 95, of Fort Worth will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman with Dr. Chas Shira officiating.

Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman.

He died Sunday, June 9, at his residence.

He was born July 26, 1923 in Novice to William Roy Bond Sr. and Rena Gaines Bond. He grew up in Novice and served in the United States Army. He attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. He married Ima Love Seals in 1945 in Coleman. He worked for Mobil Oil. After retiring, he moved back to Coleman for several years before moving to Irving.

 Survivors include his wife, Ima Bond of Fort Worth; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Scott Mauldin of Haslet; one granddaughter, one brother and sister-in-law, Guy and JoAnn Bond of San Angelo and one sister, Reba Jo Atkins of Georgetown.

 He was preceded in death by his parents.
