The Brown County United Way announces their 2020 Campaign has begun. To create awareness, Underwood’s Cafeteria has graciously agreed to once again host a United Way Day, opening on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and donating the profits from the day to help boost the Campaign. Wednesday is a day they are usually closed: the employees will be donating their time that day, and United Way board members and Agencies will be on hand to pass out rolls and help bus tables.

The Brown County United Way 2020 Campaign will be supporting 17 Agencies that benefit the people of Brown County: American Red Cross, The Ark Domestic Violence Shelter, Boys & Girls Club of Brown County, Brown County 4-H, Brown County Association for Retarded Citizens, Brown County Home Solutions, Brownwood Area Community Garden, Brownwood Community Resource Council for the benefit of TJJD youth, Brownwood Public Library, Cancer Services Network, CASA, Early Childhood Intervention, Family Services Center, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Pearl Griffin Memorial Latch Key, The Salvation Army, and Texas Trails Council, BSA.
