A new year has arrived at Brownwood’s Lyric Theatre, and with it comes the opportunity for area residents to secure their Lyric Patron tickets.
The first show of the season, “Nunsense Jamboree” directed by Dr. Nancy Jo Humfeld, will debut on February 21, and Patrons will receive admittance to it and four other live stage shows planned during 2020.
Individual Patron opportunities range in price from $125 to $1,000, and each level includes one or more tickets to each production, plus recognition in programs as well as a display in the theater lobby.
“Brownwood’s Lyric Theatre is a non-profit organization supported by ticket sales and donations from local businesses and individuals,” Managing Director Eric Evans said. “In order to grow and improve our theater, we depend on our Patrons.”
The series of stage productions this year features “Nunsense Jamboree” February 21-March 1, “Get Smart” from April 17-26, “Mamma Mia” from July 17-26, Neil Simon’s “Rumors” from October 2-11, and “A Christmas Story” December 4-13.
Patrons of the Lyric Performing Arts Company are welcomed at four levels $125, $300, $600, and $1,000. Information on Patrons can be found online at www.brownwoodlyrictheatre.com.
Throughout the year, the Lyric will also be showing a series of six movies, and information on season ticket packages for movies is also available on the website. A family package costs $100, and individual season tickets are $25.
