Howard Payne University on Monday afternoon announced that due to COVID-19 concerns, classes will remain online only through the remainder of the spring semester and the May commencement ceremony has been postponed.

Due to the continuing impact of COVID-19 on our nation, HPU administration makes the following announcements.
• To prioritize the health and safety of the student body and campus community, all classes will remain in an online instruction format for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester.
• HPU administrators are in communication with students to provide details on procedures moving forward.
• Additionally, HPU will postpone the May 2020 Commencement ceremony to a future date. Administrators are exploring various options related to rescheduling the ceremony and will make an announcement when details are finalized.
