A former correctional officer at the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correctional Complex in Brownwood is free on $50,000 bond after being arrested Friday on an allegation of sexual contact with a female student.
Jaime Segura, 31, was arrested on an indictment accusing him of indecency with a child by sexual contact, Brown County Jail records state.
Segura was arrested in August after being charged in multiple indictments with one count of sexual assault, three counts of indecency with a child, four counts of improper sexual activity with a person in custody and four counts of official oppression.
He was released after the August arrest on bonds totaling $77,500.
Segura was hired by the Texas Youth Commission in July 2005, and was placed on unpaid suspension in August, TYC spokesman Jim Hurley said after the August arrest. He said then that the TYC had started termination proceedings.
