A Brown County Jail trusty who according to sheriff’s officials escaped briefly from a county road crew on Nov. 15 was indicted for escape, 35th District Court records state.

The indictment against Rodolfo Lopez, 46, was among 45 true bills handed down by the January session of the Brown County Grand Jury.

Sheriff’s officials said Lopez walked into the brush off Whiskey Hollow Road north of Brownwood for a rest room break around 12:30 p.m., and then ran off.

Deputies captured him about three hours later.

Lopez had been jailed since Nov. 9 on a charge of credit card abuse and on a motion to enforce child support, jail records state.

Also indicted, according to court records, were the following:

Roy Maldonado Sr., possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, repeat offender.

Frederick Lee Hemphill, evading arrest.

Juan Andres Maldonado, possession of a controlled substance.

David Dwight Price, possession of a controlled substance.

Cheyenne Weathermon, possession of a controlled substance.

Christina Danielle Alexander, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Matthew Curtis McCrary, credit card abuse.

Pamela Cooley, forgery, engaging in organized criminal activity (two indictments).

Tara Lynn Hoffman, forgery, engaging in organized criminal activity (two indictments).

Jennifer Rose Wheat, burglary of a habitation.

Steven Lee Percival, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, repeat offender.

Brian Kelly Bilbrey, assault with injury — family violence, repeat offender.

Alonzo Diego Fuller Jr., forgery.

Markevi Porter, assault against a public servant (two indictments).

Butch Landon Spearman, possession of a controlled substance.

Jimmy William Jolly, possession of a controlled substance.

Justin Paul Staton, possession of a controlled substance.

Michael James Cooley, unlawful possession of a firearm, repeat offender.

Robert Ray Floyd, burglary of a building, unauthorized use of a vehicle (two indictments).
