SAN SABA — Funeral services for Dewey Mack Cason, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. today at San Saba’s First Baptist Church with Brother Sam Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at San Saba Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. today, at the church. Services are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.
He died Wednesday April 6, 2016 in San Saba.
He was born May 31, 1934 in Coleman to Mack and Maggie Sanders Cason. He joined the United States Air Force on Aug. 16, 1951 and served four years. On Jan. 16, 1958, he married Mary Katherine Nelson in Lamesa.
Survivors include his wife Mary Cason of San Saba; children, Shelia and Scott Meador of San Saba, Shara and David Wright of Decatur, Michael Cason of Victoria, Angie and Chris Leneger of Collierville, Tenn., and Lenora and Joel Cromer of Schertz; 29 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Berenda and Ted Brown of Shreveport, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents one brother and three sisters.
