HAMILTON — Kevin Michael Calhoun of Comanche went to be with his Lord, on May 17, 2016. He was born Sept. 1, 1992, in De Leon, the son of Michael Douglas Calhoun and Sharla Dianne Feist. He was the step-son of Kelly Feist.
Kevin was the grandson of Doug and Jeane Calhoun of Purmela and Sharley (Short) Seider of Indian Gap and step-grandson of Mavis Feist of Comanche.
He has one brother, Daniel Scott Calhoun of Comanche. He also had a step-brother, Colton Feist of De Leon; and step-sister, Kelsey Feist of Abilene.
Aunts and uncles are Bill and Kim Seider of Priddy, Virgil Seider of Indian Gap, Roy Seider of Priddy, Ricky and Michelle Seider of Priddy, Raymond Seider Jr. and Branda of Comanche, Steve and Christi Morgan of Priddy; Hermon Lanmon Jr. and Ginger of Hamilton, James and Nancy Calhoun of Hamilton; step-aunts and uncles, Neil and Teresa Feist of Priddy and Dendy and Lexie Feist of Comanche; as well as several cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by granddad, Raymond Seider and step-granddad, Kenneth Feist.
Kevin was employed at the Comanche Medical Center and Hospital where he worked in maintenance after serving in the Navy. He was an active Navy Petty Officer Third Class Grade E-4.
Kevin had many friends and enjoyed being with them and his family, especially his brother. He enjoyed being outdoors and being anywhere near water.
He was the kindest, gentlest, most respectful young man who would give his shirt off his back to any stranger for any reason.
He was the best son, brother, grandson, nephew or cousin anyone could ever have and he will be dearly missed. We look forward to seeing him again someday.
Funeral services were held at the Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton on Monday, May 23, 2016 with interment at the Live Oak Cemetery in Hamilton County.
