Graveside services for Billie Jack Smith, 76, of Natalia, and formerly of Junction, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Gooch Cemetery in Mason. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 in Divine.

He died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.

He was born Sept. 2, 1940 to Jack Smith and Eloise Bickenbach Smith Hoerster. He was the owner of Bakers Grocery Store for many years and had numerous successful business in his lifetime.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia A. Smith of Natalia; two daughters, Carol Herring and husband Dale of Santa Anna ad Tammy Cook of Hondo; step-mother, Marinel Smith of Junction; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maydell (Lester) Volimar of Fredericksburg and Jessie (John) McFadin of Utopia; six brothers, Jimmy (Carmon Smith) of California, Jerry (Lupe) Smith of Mason, Tommy (Ramona) Smith of San Angelo, Kelly Smith of Lubbock, Danny Smith of Austin and Richard (Val) Hall of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Sue Walker.
