COMANCHE — Funeral services for Thirza King, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robby Stuteville officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Comanche County.
She died Sunday, April 2, 2017, in Comanche County.
She was born on Feb. 6, 1937, in Haskell County, to Riley Albert and Opal Juanita (Graham) Bristow. On Nov. 26, 1983, she married Thurman Dale King in Fox, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Dale King of Comanche County; children: Robert Jobe of Healdton, Oklahoma, Wednesday Henry of Gustine, Mike King and wife Kaila of Ringling, Oklahoma, Sue Kelley and husband Bill of Burneyville, Oklahoma, Mark King and wife Debbie of Denison, Kenneth King and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Stephanie Hensley and husband Charlie of Sherman, and Joshua Garcia and wife Amy of Gustine; 18 grandchildren, Stephanie Senger of Hamilton, Michael King and wife Adele of Colorado City, Heather Avery of Davis, Oklahoma, C.K. Kelley and wife Calico of Burneyville, Kandis Cottrell and husband Jeremy of Oklahoma City, Chase Kelley of Burneyville, Brittany Wilson of Lubbock, Leslie King and wife Amber of Denison, Kamber Edwards and husband Sam of Moore, Oklahoma, Patrick King and wife Raegan of Sherman, Ryan Fizer of Comanche, Haley Osina of Austin, Madison King of Ringling, Rani King of Ringling, Lauren Osina of Sherman, 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Keough of Comanche and Rachel Thorson and husband Daile Young of Arlington,; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Clark and husband; and great-grandson, Hudson King, and nephew Donald Thorson.
