COMANCHE — A memorial service for Maxcine Nance, 87, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at East Side Baptist Church. A private graveside service was held on Sunday April, 30, 2017. Arrangements are under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.

She died Friday, April 28, 2017, in Fort Worth.

She was born June 21, 1929, in Coahoma, to William Andrew and Mattie Mae (Logan) Mays. On Aug. 4, 1946, she married Norris E. Nance in Big Spring.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Pate of Grand Prairie; granddaughter, Lori Longoria of Overland Park, Kansas; brothers, Laual Mays and wife June of Flower Mound, and Cortez Mays and wife Ernestine of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Lee Moore of Denton; brothers-in-law, Richard Nance of Arlington, T.L. Kennedy and wife Jean of Belton, and Charles Nance and wife Julia of Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death be her husband; two brothers, J.W. Mays and Wayne Mays; and one sister, Kay Mays.
