Funeral services for Nancy Joan Jackson, 81, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2 at The Church of the Good Shepherd with Father Robert McBride officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Nancy went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018. Nancy was born on Oct. 5, 1936, to Clifford and Dorothy (Shepherd) Rigney in Fort Worth. She lived in Fort Worth until she and her husband retired. She retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed after 26 years. Nancy has been a resident of Brownwood since 2001. Some of her interest were quilting, playing duplicate bridge and scuba diving.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stacy Jackson; four sons, Michael Lee Smith, Clay Alan Smith, Gary Wade Smith and wife Constance, Bradley Neal Jackson and wife Heather; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Couch of Midland; sister-in-law, Charlessa Crittenden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Rigney; and sister, Judy Coppock.
