Judy de los Santos Baker, 63, of Brownwood, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
Memorial services for Judy will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dick Schultz officiating; private interment at a later date. No visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Judy was born to Raul and Francisca (Martinez) de los Santos on May 1, 1955, in Melvin, Texas. She graduated from Mozelle High School in Coleman County in 1974. Judy married the love of her life, Gary Dan Baker, on Aug. 16, 1975, in Coleman. They moved to Brownwood in 1977.
Judy worked in retail sales for a number of years, working at Walmart, Wally’s Part Factory, and most currently at Big Lots.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Coleman. She loved cooking but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Judy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary Baker of Brownwood; two sons, Chris Baker and fiancé Tisa of Brownwood, Scottie Baker and Shelcy of Brownwood; grandchildren, Angel Baker and Brooklyn of Coleman, Christopher Baker of Coleman, Kalissa Baker of Brownwood, Conner Baker of Coleman, Penelope Tobias of Brownwood, and Vedder Baker of Brownwood; two brothers, Raul de los Santos, Jr. of Voss and Jerry de los Santos; one sister, Olivia de los Santos of Voss; and special friend, Heather Magee of Bedford. She is also survived numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Francisca de los Santos; father and mother-in-law, R.L. and Joann Baker; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Leonard.
