Marsha E. Odom, 64, died Aug. 14, 2018 at her home in Brownwood. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 in the Chapel at Heartland Funeral and Cremation Services in Early.
Marsha was born July 7, 1954 in Abilene to Alice Pearl and Floyd Clifford Owings. She lived most her life as a mother and caretaker. She loved to cook and fish, but family gatherings were her favorite pastime.
Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children. She is survived by her son, Benny and wife Denise Watkins of Burleson; daughter, Debbie Self and Percy Loudermilk of Brownwood; brothers, Ronald and Timothy Owings; sister, Glynda Wigginton; seven grandchildren, Zachary Monk, Aundria Loudermilk, Alex Turner, Levi Watkins, Kayla, Tracie and Jacob Watkins; and two great-grandchildren, Blayden Monk and Adalen Owings.
Marsha was preceded in death by both parents; a brother, Donnie Owings; and a sister, Debra Cambell.
Her beliefs in Christian life and influence will forever remain in the lives of all that knew her.
