Guadalupe Aguirre Hernandez was born in Brady on Sept. 10, 1955 to his beloved parents, Guadalupe Hernandez Sr. and Trinidad (Aguirre) Hernandez. Guadalupe was a lifelong resident of McCulloch County until the last five years, when he resided in Brownwood. He was a loving, kind, humble and loyal son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend with a gentle soul and forgiving spirit. He had a great sense of humor, was a well-rounded musician who played instruments by ear, and could sing most anything. Guadalupe loved to socialize and especially enjoyed gatherings with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by his family and many close friends.
Guadalupe is survived by his three sisters, Mary Frances Strickland of Mason, Juanita Arriaga (Max) of Brownwood, and Josephine Hernandez of Massachusetts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and Berta, the love of his life.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Trinidad Hernandez; sister, Betty Zamora; and nephew, David Solis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Samaritan Resource Center in Guadalupe's name.
