Paul Louis Fragua Jr. was born Oct. 7, 1975, to Paul and Judy Fragua and
passed away on Sept. 15, 2018. He was 42 years old.
Paul was born in Dallas and, as a baby, moved to Brownwood. In high school,
Paul played 'on the varsity football team and graduated from Brownwood High
School in 1994. Moving to Arlington as an adult, he worked as a telecommunications engineer.
Paul loved the Brownwood Lions, the Longhorns, the Cowboys and the Texas
Rangers. He relished watching all the games with his Dad, cheering and cussing
their teams. He and a friend coached Scout's little league team, and he was
happy to be so close to Scout then, to share the love of sports. Also he was so
proud of his daughter Krista and took great pleasure in watchihg her play soccer
and perform as the Brownwood Lions mascot.
The family enjoyed many vacations. Paul and his brother Forrest really found all
the nooks and crannies on the ship on our Alaskan cruise. He Iearned about
Philadelphia when we saw the Liberty Bell and Constitution Hall and then found
our car had been towed away. Paul was amazed by the “House on the Hill" in
Wisconsin. On another trip, he got to play football on Venice Beach.
In recent years, Paul met the love of his Iife, Angie Webb. Just few weeks ago
he popped the question; they were to be married on Oct. 2. Paul's face
shone with their love and this was one of the happiest times of his life.
Paul was very compassionate and caring. Because of this and his engaging
personality, he had many friends in Brownwood and in Arlington. Paul was a
happy and loving soul who was greatly loved and will be missed so very much.
Survivors include his mother, Judy; his son, Scout; his daughter, Krista; his brother,
Forrest; and his fiancee, Angie Webb.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Fragua Sr.; and his grandparents.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30 at Union Presbyterian Church in Brownwood.
