GOLDTHWAITE — Funeral services for William Adrion “Abe” Anderson, 89, of Mullin and formerly of Plainview, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Chapel in Goldthwaite. Burial will follow at North Brown Cemetery in Mills County. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in Goldthwaite.

He was born Oct. 24, 1929 in the Caradan Community of Mills County to William Thomas 'W.T.' Anderson and Audra Mae Conway Thomas. He married Earlene Nix on June 21, 1952.

Survivors include sons, Randy Anderson of Mullin, and Thomas Anderson and wife Penny of Montrose, Colorado; daughter, Nickie Bartlett and husband Dan of Murphy; grandchildren, Devin Anderson, Rachel Berkheiser, Cameron Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Corey Bartlett, and Tristan Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Emilia Anderson, Daegun Anderson, Zane Berkheiser, Haukin Berkheiser, and Raeven Anderson; and sisters, Lee Ella Henderson of Plainview, Mary Eilers of Burleson, Laura Vaughn of The Woodlands, Willa Dean Donahue of Tyler, and Jane Cline of Lake Victor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas “W.T.” Anderson and Audra Mae Conway Anderson; and his wife, Earlene Nix Anderson; and siblings, Nathan Anderson, Billy Ray Anderson, Doyce Anderson, Willard Anderson and Joy Collier.
