Alice was a long-time resident of Brownwood. She graduated from high school in Leavenworth, Kansas and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Concordia in Seward, Nebraska. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her beloved husband, Rev. Philip Graf Sr., spent 29 wonderful years together raising their family and serving the Lord. She enjoyed teaching for many years, participating in and leading Bible study groups, Sunday school, vacation Bible school, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and singing in the ‘Wild Bunch’ at local nursing homes. Alice had a heart full of compassion, a listening ear, and an ever-joyful countenance. She treasured her family and friends and loved Jesus most of all.
