Cynthia “Cindy” Lee, 61, of Early, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 31, 2019 with her family by her side, after a lengthy battle with a rare degenerative brain disease. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3 at Heartland Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 2 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Cindy was born Saturday, Oct. 5, 1957 in Brownwood to Wesley Lee and Laura Lee Ribble. She graduated from Early High School, and went on to attend Tarleton State University. During her working years, she was an employee of Nelson Wholesale, Tractor Supply and American Paint Horse Association.

Cindy was a country kind of girl, where she enjoyed going to the rodeo, all animals and listening to her favorite country music songs. But most of all she loved her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren and loved spending quality time with them. Her family and friends will always cherish her loving and outgoing personality.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Lee; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jones and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lee.

Cindy is survived by her mom, Laura Lee Ribble and husband Brooks of May; children, Justin Staton, Kelci Fannin and Jeremy Lovell; her siblings, Ryder and wife Teresa Lee of Santa Anna, Vicky and husband Paul Drennan of San Angelo, Stacy Lee of Justin, Kathy and husband Richard Penn of Early; grandchildren, Cowdy Staton, Kaden Staton and Ashlyn Lovell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
