COLEMAN — Funeral services for Van A. Row, 86, of Coleman, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at Henderson Funeral Hom in Coleman. Burial will follow at the Gouldbusk Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 21 at the funeral home.
He passed from this life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
He was born Aug. 29, 1932 in Temple to Ray M. and Ruth O. Arnold Row. He served his country as a member of the United States Army. In 1956, he married Violet Savage in Gouldbusk.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy L. Jewell and husband Steven Jewell of Coleman, Vanica R. Maves and husband Charles Maves of Coleman; son, Robert G. Row and wife Jackie of Smithfield, North Carolina; sister, Bonnie Fannin and husband Phil of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Joe Row of Coleman and Doyce Row of Midland; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Van was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Lucas Row; a grandson, Lucas Row; and by his wife Violet Row.
