BRADY — Nancy Jean Thomas, 60, of Brownwood, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her residence in Brownwood. Nancy was born Nov. 17, 1958 in Santa Cruz, California to James B. Thomas and Imogene Rosella (Davis) Thomas. She graduated from Black Ford High School in 1976 and attended West Hills College where she majored in business and minored in Art. She worked as a medical assistant for several years in California before moving to Brownwood in 2013. She worked as a substitute teacher and teachers aid at the Victory Life Church School and as a customer host at the Brownwood Walmart. She was an active member of the Victory Life Church in Brownwood.
A memorial service for Nancy Jean Thomas will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5 at the Victory Life Church, 901 CC Woodson in Brownwood with Pastor Stan Roberts and Pastor Kenneth Colegrove officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. Nancy is survived by her son, Thomas Wayne Everett Jr. and his wife Kristie of Conroe; daughter, Tamera Sellers and husband Keith of Brady; brothers, Edward Thomas and wife Sharon of Morgan Hill, California and Timothy Thomas and wife Gayle of Marysville, California; sister, Marian Myers of Kirkland, Washington; grandchildren, Brianna, Dylan, Alanna, Hunter, Wyatt and Brody; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
