Frankie Ramsey Ballard, 76, of Brownwood passed away Aug. 2, 2019. A visitation has been planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 at Heartland Funeral Home, 303 Early Blvd. in Early with a graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.

Frankie Williams was born Nov. 17, 1942 in Brownwood to Curtis Franklin and Rosetta Denton Williams. She graduated high school in Brownwood and married Dean Ramsey. The Lord blessed their union with two children. Frankie lost Dean early in life and was blessed to find another soul mate in Ernest Ballard. She worked for Texas Bank and JC Penney here locally. She was a loving wife and mother with an awesome sense of humor. She was very giving and a joy to have known.

Frankie is survived by her daughter, Connie Dayleen Lerma; son, Philip Darren Ramsey; sister, Dorothy H. Whisenhunt; two grandsons, Joshua and Matthew Ramsey; and her long-time companion, her Chihuahua, Gracie Lee.

Frankie was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Ramsey; second husband, Ernest “Cotton” Ballard; and brother, Billy E. Sharrock.
