Frankie Lee Schneider, 96, of Brownwood, left her earthly home on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 at her home.

She was born June 17, 1923 in Brownwood, the daughter of Alvin and Viola (Chapman) Cobb. She attended Brownwood schools and was a Brownwood graduate. She worked as a telephone operator with GTE until she retired. She was an avid gardener and reader and loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jann Thomason; two grandsons, Ric Thomason from West Virginia, and Chad Thomason from Denver, Colorado; a niece and her husband, Sandra and David Lewton; two nephews, Reuben from Brownwood and Daryl of Fort Worth; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to thank Frankie’s caregivers, Lisa Herndon, Julie Williford, Charlene Neal, Teresa Closs, Teresa Ribble, Sharon Allen, Grace Martinez, Karen Bercey, Dr. Ranjana Nigalye and Solaris Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bobby Schneider; and her sisters Dale and Elsie.

Memorial services will be held at 4p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
