She was a LVN for the State School in Brownwood for 20 years until she retired. She married John D. Stockman on Feb. 9, 1946 where their union was blessed with four children. After John’s passing in 1992, she married Lonneal Guthrie on Feb. 10, 1996. She loved the Guthrie family. Vonnie enjoyed quilting and was a member of the WMCA at Early United Methodist Church. She made most of her family members a personalized quilt. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. Most of all Vonnie loved her Lord and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Stockman and wife Sandy, Billy Stockman and wife Missy and Larry Stockman; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
