JoAnn Futrell, 78, of Brownwood passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Private family graveside services for JoAnn will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20 at Rising Star Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Online guestbook condolences are encouraged at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

JoAnn was born to Earl and Pearl (Green) Aaron on April 2, 1941, in Rising Star. She was member of Grosvenor Baptist Church. JoAnn enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and collecting rocks. She loved her family dearly and loved being with them.

JoAnn is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Lundgren and husband Allen of East Bernard, Barbara Ramos of Brownwood, and Misty Futrell of Brownwood; son, Michael Futrell and wife Zjani of Montana; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Berryman and husband Joe of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a number of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pearl; husband, Bob Futrell; two sons, Michael McMillian Sr. and Ricky McMillian; one sister, Evelyn Romines; and two brothers, Gerald Aaron, Earl C. “Sonny” Aaron.
