Vic was born on May 6, 1956 in Ashburn, Georgia to parents Mr. and Mrs. William G. Hardin Jr. and passed away April 17, 2020 in Temple from complications of congestive heart failure.
A native of Ashburn, Georgia, he graduated from Turner County High School in 1974, where he was active in all sports. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Business Degree in 1978, and remained a lifelong fan of UGA athletics. For the last 20 years he had been a resident of Brown County. He remained a dedicated employee of Brookesmith Special Utility District, where he was known as “24/7” by his friends, because he was always available to help.
Always a hard worker and a natural jokester at heart, Vic will be remembered for his kind and giving nature, his positively contagious smile, and his joyful sense of humor. He will be forever hailed as the “world’s best daddy” by his daughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Bennie (Nicholas); mother, Doris W. Hardin; sister, Cecelia H. Costley (Jim); and wife Tamé Hardin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
