Roy Lee Haynes, 75, of Brownwood, died May 12, 2020 at his home.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2020, at Heartland Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

He was born on Oct. 11, 1944, in Brownwood to Lloyd and Falba Haynes. He attended Brownwood High Schoo and enlisted in the Army Reserve National Guard. He was honorably discharged in 1971 and began a 32-year career at 3M, retiring in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a great-grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Haynes; daughters, Avaloi Haynes Lanning of Proctor, Vermont and Kathy Franks Maxwell of Brownwood; son, Dwight Damon Franks of Granbury;
sisters, Robbie Sutton and Linda Clipper, both of Brownwood; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
