COLEMAN — Funeral services for Mariam Elizabeth (Coffey) Kuebler, 84, of Burkett will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Henderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Clower officiating. Burial will follow in Burkett Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.
She died at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Coleman Healthcare Center in Coleman.
She was born on June 2, 1924, in Echo, to August E. and Winnie Tabor Coffey. She was raised in Coleman County and attendeed Echo Schools. On June 2, 1943, she was married to August E. Kuebler in Oakland, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the Burkett Baptist Church, a sales clerk at Roscoe’s Stores in California, and worked at the Cross Plains Retirement Home until her retirement.
Survivors include her two daughters, JoAnn and husband, Joseph Seddon of Camano Island, Wash., and Deborah and husband, Frank Krstulya of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Robert and wife, Shirley Kuebler of Santa Ana Heights, Calif., and August James and wife, Norbe Kuebler of Kuwait; sister, Sue and husband, Ed Hill of New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
