COLEMAN — Funeral services for Linda Davis Lane, 60, of Abilene, will be 4 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman. Burial will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery
She died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 11, 1947, in Coleman, the daughter of Fred Davis and Jean McDonald Davis. She grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. She was married to Scotty Lane on July 31, 1980, in Abilene. She had lived in Abilene since 1979, working at D & H Rig Service for five years, Carey Marine for 10 years and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Service for 12 years. She also attended Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene for the past 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, Scotty Lane of Abilene; two daughters, Lori Riojas and husband, Eric, of Abilene, Lori Dempsey of Coleman; one son, Ronnie Lane and wife, Kellie, of Odessa; two sisters, Sharon Mayo and husband, Michael, of Coleman, Carla Berry and husband, Gary Don, of Coleman; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kami Stewart in 1977; and one granddaughter, Britani Wilson in March 1988.
