CLEBURNE — Funeral service for Hollis Brown Joslin, 89, was at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with David Berryman and David Tappe officiating. Burial followed in Rosehill Cemetery.
He died Oct. 16, 2007, in Cleburne.
He was born May 1, 1918, in Pecan Grove to Joseph and Annie Hayes Joslin. On Nov. 19, 1937, he was married to Lillian Lee Bilton in Cleburne.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Joslin of Cleburne; sons, Gene Joslin of Cleburne, Robert Joslin of Arlington and Roger Joslin of Bentonville, Ark.; daughter, Valerie Joslin Moses of Nassau Bay; brother, Lowell Joslin and wife Lorece of Cleburne; sisters, Allene Hanson, Maxine Allen and Marie Muinos, all of California; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Billie Owens; and daughter-in-law, Pat Joslin.
