Truman Perry, 66, of Bangs, died at his home Dec. 6, 2007. Funeral services, under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Davis-Morris Chapel. The family receive dfriends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at the funeral home.

Mr. Perry was born May 18, 1941, in Paris, Texas, to T.T. and Ruth (McFadden) Perry. He married Sue Lancaster Nov. 26, 1958, in Odessa, Texas; they celebrated 49 years of marriage. He was a Tape & Bed Contractor and Rancher, living in Bangs for 43 years. He was a Baptist and primary in life was love of his family and animals. Mr. Perry had a great love of the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. He and his wife Sue loved to travel, mostly camping in Colorado.

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife Sue Perry of Bangs; children, Dewayne Perry, Tammy Perry, James and Chris Perry, Ron and Jean Young, and Richard and Karen Henry; grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Stovall of Brownwood, Derrick and JoyAnn Perry of Brownwood, Catherine and J D Moreno of San Marcos, Jared Perry of Granbury, Aaron, Jacob and Karissa Perry of Bangs, Michael and Jay Young of Dover, Del., Jason and Dustin Henry of Brownwood; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Cross Moreno of San Marcos, Talan Young of Dover, Del.; mother, Mildred Perry of Vidor, Texas; mother-in-law, Gladys Lancaster of Bangs; sister, Mary and Everett Linscomb of Fred, Texas, Pat Lawerence of Vidor, Texas, Beverly Smith, Austin, Texas; brother, Joe and Betty Perry of Vidor, Texas, Eddie and Louise Perry of Vidor, Texas; nephew, Derrick and Angela Walker of Bangs; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by father T.T. Perry and Ray Bivens; mother Ruth (McFadden) Bivens; sister, Sharon Walker; and father-in-law, Perry Lancaster.

Our Husband, Father, Son, Son-in-law, and Uncle was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
