Patsy A. Little of Brownwood went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2011, while with her husband of 63 years, Arthur Little.

Patsy was born in Brown County on Sept. 17, 1931, to Raymond D. and Birdie Doll Matlock and raised on a farm outside Early. A graduate of Early High School, she was married to William Arthur Little on July 10, 1948. Other than 13 years in Dallas, Patsy lived the majority of her life in Early and Brownwood and was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church. While Patsy spent the majority of her life as a housewife, she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, could out-cook Paula Dean, had a witty sense of humor to her death, had lifetime relationships with her friends and loved to study the Word.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, with her nephew Pastor Marc "Denny" Denson officiating and interment to follow in Jenkin Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, also at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
