Graveside funeral services for Bobbye Vaught, 77, of Brady, Texas, will be held 1 p.m. today, in the Eastlawn Memorial Park with Pastor John McFarland officiating.

She passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Austin, Texas.

Bobbye Ruth Vaught was born on Jan. 24, 1932, in Bonham, Texas, to Amos and Viola Thompson Franklin. She was married to Frank Vaught in Lubbock, Texas on Sept. 6, 1972. She was a retired nurse, past member of the Eastern Star and had lived in Brady for the past nine years where she was a member of the Temples of Worship Church.

She will be missed greatly by her son, Kenny McDowell and Wade Coles; daughter, Glenda Burks and husband Richard; grandson, Stacy Bleeker and wife Debora; great-grandson, Colt Scott; great-granddaughter, Jessica Bleeker; special friend, Angie Brown; and great-granddaughter, Tiffani Sikes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.
