SAN ANGELO ó Funeral services for Edith Evelyn Wagner, 83, of San Angelo, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Johnsonís Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Baker, pastor of Lake View United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
She died Friday, June 1, 2007.
She was born July 17, 1923, in McCullough to Jefferson Alideen and Fannie Edith Cockrell. On Aug. 15, 1942, she was married to Richard Carl Wagner in Brownwood.
Survivors include her son, Edmund Wagner of San Angelo; daughter, Carlene Gallemore of Azle; brother, Willie Cockrell of Missouri; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1995; two brothers, Ben and Burl Cockrell; and two grandsons.
The family requests that memorials be made to Lake View United Methodist Memorial Fund or the Alzheimerís Association.
