Sisto Morin, age 48, of Comanche died Friday night at the Abilene Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Paul Gutierrez officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born July 4, 1959, in Three Rivers, Texas, the son of Guadalupe Morin and Maria Pena. He married Eva Gutierrez at Comanche on May 12, 1980, and had lived in Comanche for the past 27 years.

He worked in the construction business and was formerly employed with Cain Pool Company. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to watch them play football.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Morin of Comanche; two daughters, Ruby Morin and husband Jason Covington of Comanche, Crystal Morin of Comanche; a son, Sisto Morin Jr. of Comanche; four grandchildren, Destiny, Allison, Jayden, and Tyrese Morin of Comanche; six brothers, Guadalupe Morin Jr. of George West, Texas, Juan Manuel Morin of Comanche, Jose Luis Morin of Beeville, Rogelio Morin of George West, Alfredo Pena Jr. of George West and Pedro Pena of George West; one sister, Juanita Villereal of Brownwood; four step-sisters, Elda Morin, Christina Morin, Nancy Morin and Melinda Morin of Ennis, Texas; four step-brothers, George Morin of Idalou, Carlos Morin of Poteet, Mario Morin of Ennis and Ray Morin of Idalou; his mother, Maria Pena of George West; his father, Guadalupe Morin of Alice, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
