SANTA ANNA — Funeral services for Evelyn Gail Dillingham, 68, of Santa Anna will be 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Santa Anna, with the Rev. Roger Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Anna Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
She died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Coleman County Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 23, 1941, in Santa Anna, to Roger William Matthews and Ethel Rose Jackson Matthews. She was married to Jack Dillingham on Nov. 16, 1986, in Santa Anna. She worked as an insurance agent and a hairdresser, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Santa Anna.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Dillingham of Santa Anna; her daughter, Pamela Kay Longly and husband Charles of Fort Worth; step-daughter, Audra Paty and husband Brad of Ovala; brother, Truman Matthews and wife Bess of Burkett; three sisters, Jeanette Brock of Santa Anna, Billie Ruth Woods and husband Bill of Granbury, and Shirley Leach of Azle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Diann Dillingham of Coleman; two grandchildren; a step-grandson; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Roger, Margaret, Mavis, Marie, Dwayne and twins, Myrtle and Myrtie; and a grandson.
