Funeral services for James Dudley Loudermilk will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Loudermilk was born March 6, 1952, in Clovis New Mexico, to Albert and Betty Moore Loudermilk. He lived most of his life in Odessa, Texas. He worked in the oil field for a number of years. He graduated from CCI in San Angelo, Texas, as a heating and air technician. He loved to fish and watch television.

Mr. Loudermilk is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jimmy Jolly of Brownwood; and two grandchildren, Brooke and Daniel McElhaney of Brownwood. He is also survived by two brothers, Phillip and David Loudermilk of Louisiana; one niece and three nephews; and numerous friends in Rising Star, Texas.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by his family, he was a great father and loved by his grandchildren.
