Graveside services for Danny Ray Caudill, age 44, of Zephyr, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Eastlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Bryan Griffin officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 Sunday afternoon at Netherton Funeral Home. He passed away Friday evening, Aug. 1, 2008.
Danny was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Imperial Valley, Calif., the son of Jack and Josie (Burditt) Caudill. He had been a resident of Zephyr since 1991, formerly of Early. He was a graduate of Early High School. Danny worked at Potter’s Industries and was a member of the Brownwood Jaycees and the Zephyr Volunteer Fire Department. He married Patricia Cagle on July 8, 2001, in Early.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Caudill, of Zephyr; children, Aaron Caudill of May, Matthew Shipman of Brownwood, Rick and Diane Jones of Brownwood, Damon Jones of Florida and Darla Biggarstaff of Brownwood; parents, Jack and Josie Caudill, of Zephyr; brother, Jacky Caudill and wife, Mary, of Early; sisters, Rebecca McGraw of Early and Kathy Richbourg of Clute; two grandchildren, Jayden Biggerstaff and Randy Biggerstaff; three step-grandchildren, Selena Jones, Heather King and Betty Austin; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lee Caudill; grandparents, Francis and Dessie Burditt, Elnora Brown and William R. Caudill Sr.; and a niece, Alexa Maria Robles.
The family requests memorials be made to the Zephyr Volunteer Fire Department.
