Graveside services for Nora K. Egger, 82, of Brownwood, formerly of Mills County, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Regency Cemetery with Paul McClung officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Mrs. Egger died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at a local nursing home.

She was born July 10, 1924, in Mills County and was a lifetime resident of Mills and Brown counties. She was a member of the Fourth and Stewart Church of Christ, and was a machine operator for Brownwood Manufacturing.

She was married to R.D. Egger on Sept. 2, 1947, in Mills County.

Survivors include her son, Sam Egger and wife Denise of Brownwood; two daughters, Rita Jean Egger of San Antonio and Kathy Louise Leigh and husband Jonathon Clark of Port Charlotte, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Jacqueline Leigh, Ryley and Evan Wilkerson, Jennifer Gayle Miner, Nora Jean Miner and Kelli Denise Blackwell; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Ernestine Stanley, Jean Sutton and Annabelle Egger; and her brother, John and Bob Wood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.D. Egger; a son, Larry Ben Egger; three brothers; and one sister.
