Nolan Wayne Butler, age 74, passed away at his home on February 16, 2021. He was born on June 15, 1946 to Nolan and Mary Butler in Temple, Texas.

He was in the insurance business for years with Mutual of Omaha, cattle ranching and in 1998 put in an outdoor gun range called Wayne’s Range. The gun range will remain open. He loved to fish and hunt and was active in Skeet Shooting competition when he was younger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nolan and Mary Butler and one son Kenneth (Kenny) Butler.

Funeral services for Nolan Wayne Butler will be on Monday, February 22 at 2:00 P.M. at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Penny Dick Butler, son Richard Butler of Trophy Club, Texas; sister Betty Younts and husband Dub of San Angelo, Texas; two grandchildren Jacob and Jessi Butler of Trophy Club, Texas; stepson Ronald Dick of Goldsboro, Texas.
