Charles Snell

Sidney - Charles Bob Snell, age 84 passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. A Graveside service will be 2pm Monday, February 22nd at the Rising Star Cemetery.

Charlie Bob was born Saturday, May 2, 1936 in Anson, Texas to Roscoe and Ethel Snell. He graduated from Rankin High School. After high school Charlie married DeAlva Aldridge on April 21, 1956 in Rankin, and began a life together that blessed them with 3 children. They were married until her passing in February of 2012. Charlie married Glenda Noland on November 10, 2012 in Stephenville, TX. Charlie owned a Machine Shop in Odessa, TX, for many years, after retirement he enjoyed his time farming, ranching and working on his farm equipment. He moved from Odessa to Sidney. Charlie enjoyed dancing, and being around people. But most of all he loved his family.

Charlie is survived by his wife Glenda of Stephenville; sons, Charles Dee Snell and wife Sheila of Waxahachie, Alvin Snell and wife Terry of Lometa; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife DeAlva Snell; daughter Cheryl Jeanne Pettijohn; great grandchild Harley Pettijohn; brother Roscoe Jack Snell; and his parents Roscoe and Ethel Snell.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
