San Angelo - Stacie Lamkin, 52, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, in San Antonio.
Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with family visitation being from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel in San Angelo with Pastor Richard Swift, pastor of The Door Christian Fellowship, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home of San Angelo.
Miss Lamkin was born July 25, 1969 in Houston. Stacie was a 1987 graduate of Brownwood High School. She earned her Bachelors degree in English from Angelo State University and later earned her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Stacie has been a resident San Angelo since 1987. Stacie taught at Belaire Elementary, San Jacinto Elementary, Goliad Elementary. She later was at the San Angelo School District Administration and at Region 15 as a Education Specialist for federal programs. Stacie was a member of The Door Christian Fellowship. She loved to read the Bible, doing crafts and raising her chickens.
Survivors include her parents, Herbert, III and Linda Lamkin of Brownwood; her two sons, Nicholas Gonzales and Garrett Gonzales both of San Angelo; her fiancé, Robert Gomez of San Angelo; her two brothers, Chris Lamkin and wife Teresa of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Brad Lamkin of San Antonio. Stacie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Pittman and Herbert, Jr. and Margaret Lamkin.
