Bangs - Jewel Pearl Jones, 88 of Bangs passed away Monday, November 8, 2021. Services will be held Saturday, November 13th at 10:00 and a visitation will be at 9:00 am prior to the service in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early.

Jewel was born in Anson, Texas to William and Augnest Jones. She graduated from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, at Alvin College. She obtained her Paralegal License in Houston. Jewel valued an education. She had a beautiful singing voice, and loved music and dancing. Jewel enjoyed going to musicals, reading and herb gardening. She also loved visiting and spending time with her family and friends.

Jewel is survived by her daughters; Cynthia Diane Sharp and husband Jerry, and Constance Denise Erwin; son, Joel Taylor Erwin and wife Debbie; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alvie Jones; grandson, Wayne Jerome Hewitt Jr. and great grandson Ronin Amos; her parents and 2 brothers.
