Rose Weathers

Early - Rose Weathers of Early, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 6th, 2022. She was just days shy of her 94th birthday.

Rose was born on March 10th, 1928 to Peter and Emma Chaussee in Hendricks Minnesota. Her parents and 11 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Rose lived most of her childhood in Montana. At 16 years old, she moved to Seattle where she met Alvis Weathers. They were married December 22, 1944.

She spent 30 years as a military wife. After Alvis retired, they moved to Brownwood, TX. A few years later, they opened Weather's Gun Deck with their son Jim. Rose and Alvis were married 56 years before his death in 2001.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her four children, Marsha Bryant of Cotulla, TX, Alva Bradley of Austin, TX, Sam Weathers of Devine, TX and James (Jim) Weathers of Early, TX. She was adored by her 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. Five generations of family who loved her dearly.

*Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 12pm, Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, TX.
