Dora Faye Sargent

Dora Faye Sargent, age 88, of Brownwood, passed from this life on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Dora was born on October 6, 1933, in Crowell, Texas to Nina and Robert Bonsal. She graduated from Pampa High School and married Edward Earl Sargent on April 4, 1953. Dora had a long career with Target and also worked as the manager of Crystal Beach Bakery in Crystal Beach. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Baytown.

Dora loved living near the ocean at Crystal Beach. In 2010, she moved to Baytown and in 2020, she moved to Brownwood to be closer to family. Dora always lit up a room and was instantly friends with anyone she met.

Dora is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Sargent, a son Shawn Sargent and her three brothers, Bob, Ray and Jerry Bonsal.
