RV Rodgers, 97, died Oct. 26, 2020.

He was born in Coleman, Texas, on May 30, 1923. He served in the Army during World War II. He owned and operated Rodgers Grocery & Station in Mozelle, and farmed and ranched. He was a member of Gouldbusk Baptist Church

He is survived by his wife, Maedelle Rodgers; two daughters, Mignon Braun of Odessa and Ginger Hardage of Dallas; a granddaughter, three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his his parents, five brothers and sisters and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman with burial in Gouldbusk Cemetery.
