To the editor:

After the death of Joshua, the power of Israel began to decline due to religious apostasy. The history of God’s people was from that time characterized by recurring eras of subjugation by, and deliverance from, the peoples of the land.

In this period before the appointment of the profits, when Israel went from apostasy to repentance and back to apostasy, God provided deliverers such as Othniel, Ehud, Deborah and Sampson.

Barak was the military leader at the time Deborah, the prophetess, was judging Israel. Barak was ordered to take 10,000 men into battle against the enemy. However, Barak refused the Lord’s command to go into battle without Deborah. She then said to Barak, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the Lord will sell Sesera into the hand of a woman.” — Judges 4:4-10.

We are in a similar situation in our country now. God has allowed a barbarious group of people to attack and punish the U.S.A. to bring us back to our senses about who is ruling the nations of the world. And in this case, he used a woman to lead his people to victory: “And Deborah went up with him.” Bill Clinton wants another opportunity to balance the budget and to help poor people regain the rights and privileges they once experienced as citizens of the U.S.A. However, he cannot do it unless Hillary is elected president of the U.S.A.

Barack Obama, however, thinks he ought to be president of the U.S.A. But he voted against the war; he did not want our troops to defend us, even though we were viciously attacked and many Americans lost their lives to those who want to bring to the U.S.A. the greatest perversion of religion that has ever existed on this earth.

Our president, George W. Bush, sent our troops to destroy the dictator who was paying families $25,000 to send their sons on suicidal attacks against the U.S.A. Thus, George W. Bush has kept us from losing our freedoms from those who would destroy the nation that has long been the greatest defender of freedom in the world.

However, in doing this, he has diminished the rights of the poor from receiving the help they need. Hillary Clinton will continue the fight that George Bush started but will do so in a manner that will enable the poor to keep their heads above the water. For that reason, the older Bill and Hillary Clinton ought to have the reins of power and not Obama, who is too young and not very wise (Job, “Wisdom and understanding come with age.”)

A man of God once wrote, “Put no trust in your neighbor; have no confidence in a friend.” Let’s put into office some people who have shown they know these true principles: Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
